Product Description
Darco PegAssist™ System Off Loading Insole: Pressure Relief and Wound Care Management
Darco PegAssist Pressure Relief Insoles are specifically designed to offload pressure from areas of the plantar surface of the foot that contain wounds or ulcerations. This is accomplished with its removable pegs. By removing pegs from the insole in areas where pressure relief is needed, wearers will experience less irritations and improved heal and recovery time. Patients will not only feel pressure relief, but also maintain mobility. Darco PegAssist Pressure Relief Insoles prevent pain, minimize pressure and offer cushioning comfort where patients need it most after surgery or trauma.- Pegs are removable to off-load pressure from areas of the plantar surface of the foot
- As much as 60% of the pressure will be reduced while allowing patients to be mobile
- Made with an 18mm combination of Plastazote Poron and multi foam, which provides shock absorption and moldability
- The Poron cover remains intact after peg removal to eliminate the incidence of ring edema and edge abrasion
- Stabilizer board prevents remaining pegs from collapsing
- Comes with a single use marking tube to mark the area of desired pressure reduction and ensure proper peg removal
- Please Note: The Darco PegAssist System Off Loading Insole is sold in singles not pairs.
